Navigating Troubling Trends in Global Talent Acquisition: A Personal Reflection
Recently, I found myself in an enlightening conversation with my VP of Global Services that brought some unsettling truths to light. It appears that the organization’s approach to finding replacements isn’t solely about securing the most cost-effective talent; there’s also a concerning trend of seeking out countries with the least robust labor protection laws.
This strategy has significant implications not only for the ethical considerations of our hiring practices but also for the overall morale of existing team members.
