Embracing the Nerves: My Journey to a Dream Job Interview
Today marks a significant milestone in my professional journey—I have an interview with my dream company in the cybersecurity field, and it’s less than half an hour away! As the time ticks closer, I can’t help but feel a whirlwind of emotions; excitement and anxiety are battling for dominance in my mind.
Over the past two weeks, I’ve devoted countless hours preparing for this opportunity. After long days at work, I would delve into study materials, anxious yet determined to be well-equipped for whatever questions may come my way. Today, however, everything feels more real, and let’s just say, my nerves are definitely in overdrive!
The challenge is, I can’t share this exhilarating news with my friends on other social media platforms because my current employer is aware of my handles. This has made it difficult for me to express the excitement bubbling inside. It’s a strange feeling to carry such a significant moment quietly, but here I am—grateful for this platform to share my experience with you all!
Thank you for letting me vent a bit. I know this isn’t the usual type of post you’d see here, but I needed a space to pour out my emotions on this important day.
Update: I can hardly contain my excitement! I just found out that I’ve advanced to the next round of interviews! I’m over the moon and can’t thank you all enough for your positive vibes during this process. My hands are still shaking, but it’s a good kind of shake—a sign of the thrilling journey ahead!
