Overcoming Pre-Interview Jitters: My Journey to the Cybersecurity Dream Job

Today marks a pivotal moment in my professional journey—I have an interview scheduled in just 30 minutes with a cybersecurity company that I truly admire. This opportunity is a culmination of countless hours of preparation and hard work, and to say that I’m nervous would be an understatement.

For the past two weeks, I dedicated myself to studying and revising relevant materials, all while balancing a demanding work schedule. Now, standing on the brink of this interview, I find myself engulfed in a whirlwind of excitement and anxiety.

Unfortunately, I can’t share my excitement with my friends on social media; my current employer is aware of my Twitter handle, so I’m keeping this moment to myself. Still, the anticipation is overwhelming, and I needed a space to express my feelings and connect with others who understand this exhilarating yet daunting experience.
