The Nerves and Joy of Pursuing Your Dream Job

As I sit here, just moments away from an interview with my dream company in the cybersecurity industry, I can hardly contain my emotions. It’s a significant moment for me—a culmination of hard work and dedication that has brought me to this pivotal point. Yet, I find myself overwhelmed with excitement and anxiety all at once.

For the past two weeks, I have committed countless hours to studying and preparing for this opportunity. Between my regular job and late-night study sessions, I’ve poured everything I have into getting ready for this moment. And now, as the clock ticks down to the interview, I can’t help but feel like a bundle of nerves.

One of the challenges I’m facing is keeping this thrilling news under wraps from my current employer, who happens to follow my social media accounts. It’s a strange feeling when you want to share your excitement but can’t shout it from the rooftops.
