Dealing with TrojanDownloader:HTML/Adodb.gen!A and Discord Cache Files: A Guide

Recently, I encountered a concerning issue with my computer security. While using my device, Windows Defender alerted me to a potential threat identified as TrojanDownloader:HTML/Adodb.gen!A. This malware seemed to specifically target files within my Discord cache, raising alarms about what steps to take next.

Upon receiving the alert, I decided to take swift action. Windows Defender had detected the threat twice, each time identifying it in different Discord cache files, and had quarantined the files to prevent further risk. Believing that clicking “remove” would completely eliminate the threat, I proceeded to do so.
