I recently found myself in possession of an old, non-functional laptop, and I’m eager to breathe new life into it with a creative project. While my professional duties involve working in an auto parts warehouse where we utilize a terminal emulator for inventory management, I find the vintage aesthetic of these systems reminiscent of classic video games from the 1980s, much like the interfaces seen in “Fallout 3.”

With a passion for blending nostalgia with practicality, I’m inspired to develop a customized inventory system at home to catalog items in various spaces, such as my kitchen and closets. This could encompass everything from food supplies to clothing and beyond.
