Help Needed: Unable to Change My Google Account Name After 90 Days
Itβs been over three months since I had an unfortunate incident with my Google account, and I’m reaching out for assistance. A few months ago, my account was compromised, and the intruder changed my name to something utterly inappropriate: “I’m A Son Of A Bitch Vagina Hoe.” Naturally, I was mortified to see this as my username, especially since it was visible to anyone who viewed my account.
Initially, when I attempted to change my name back to something more suitable, I encountered a roadblock. Google informed me that due to the recent changes, I would need to wait 90 days before I could modify my username again. Accepting this as a standard protocol, I patiently waited for the three-month mark to arrive.
Now, to my dismay, even after the full 90 days have passed, I’m still unable to update my name. Each time I try to make the change, I’m met with a frustrating error message stating, βAn error occurred.β This has been a continuous source of annoyance, and my search for a solution in the FAQs has proven unhelpful.
I would greatly appreciate any advice or guidance from those who may have experienced a similar issue or have insights on how I can resolve this. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide!
