Help: Has anyone seen a Spanish/Russian/Islam bookmark hack on Opera GX? I came home from work, and got on my pc to do homework and came across all of these “bookmarks”. Many were in different languages, and some were of vids, porn, products and so on. Any idea?

Unwanted Bookmarks on Opera GX: Seeking Solutions

Have you ever returned from a long day at work, sat down at your computer to tackle some homework, and discovered a bewildering collection of new bookmarks? If you’re using Opera GX, this might resonate with you. Recently, I came home to find a plethora of bookmarks that I certainly did not add. The array of links caught my attention, with many displayed in various languages including Spanish, Russian, and Arabic, among others.

Among the unusual bookmarks were links to seemingly random content: some pointed to anime-related YouTube videos, others directed me to explicit drawings and adult sites, while I also encountered pages for various products on AliExpress, SoundCloud tracks, articles, and even modding community links from NexusMods. The diversity of content was striking, and I was left puzzled.

The bookmarks appeared to originate from multiple languages, including English, Russian, and a few Asian scripts thrown into the mix. It all raised a significant concern: how did these bookmarks appear on my system? If anyone else has experienced this issue, or if you have insights on potential fixes, I would greatly appreciate your input.

Let’s come together to unravel this mystery and hopefully find a solution to restore our browsing experience to normalcy!
