Seeking Recommendations for Trackballs Compatible with macOS

I’m reaching out to the community for some much-needed guidance on finding the perfect trackball or trackball-equipped mouse compatible with macOS. I’ve been facing some unique challenges in this area, and your recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

To provide a bit of context, I have arachnodactyly, which affects the way my hands (measuring 25 x 12 cm) interact with conventional mice. Unfortunately, even though I’ve tried using the massive ROG Spatha X—one of the largest gaming mice available—its dimensions (137 x 89 x 45 mm, weighing 168g) still don’t quite fit my needs. The ergonomic design is great, but it induces discomfort during prolonged use.

I’ve received suggestions to switch to a fingertip grip mouse, but that approach doesn’t suit me. Many options feel too small or narrow for my hand shape, which only adds to my discomfort. What I’m really searching for is a quality trackball that provides good macOS driver support, including features like programmable macros to enhance functionality.

While my primary use is non-gaming, I do keep my trusty ROG Spatha X for any occasional gaming sessions. However, I’d prefer a more comfortable solution for daily tasks.
