Troubleshooting GPU Issues on a Used Laptop: A Journey of Frustration and Learning

As an IT professional, encountering unexpected tech troubles can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you’ve invested in what you believed would be a reliable piece of hardware. Recently, I purchased a used laptop equipped with an NVIDIA 3060 GPU from my company, which was functioning flawlessly for the first two weeks. However, to my dismay, the GPU ceased to work a couple of days ago, leaving me perplexed and searching for solutions.

In an attempt to resolve the issue, I embarked on a comprehensive troubleshooting journey. My first step was to reinstall the drivers, hoping that a fresh installation would restore functionality.
