Concerned About My Laptop: Possible Virus or Background Process?

I hope this message finds you well. I’m reaching out to the community today as I’m experiencing some troubling issues with my laptop, and I could really use your insights and expertise.

Recently, I’ve observed that my laptop’s fans are spinning up to high speeds and the CPU temperature and utilization significantly increase, even when the screen is turned off. In addition, I’ve noticed some unusual spikes in the Task Manager, which has raised my concerns.

To address these concerns, I’ve conducted a thorough scanning process using several reputable antivirus solutions, including Malwarebytes, HitmanPro, and ESET’s online scanner. Unfortunately, none of these tools flagged any harmful threats. As a precaution, I also performed a complete reset of my PC after wiping everything clean, but the issue still persists.

This leads me to wonder: Could this be indicative of a virus lurking in the background, or might it simply be normal Windows processes running while the system is idle?
