Help Needed: My New PC Setup Seemed to Be a Disaster
As a 17-year-old enthusiast who recently invested $3,500 in a top-tier gaming PC, I find myself in a bit of a crisis. With a powerful Ryzen 3900X processor on an Asus ROG Crosshair Hero VIII WiFi motherboard, I embarked on the journey of overclocking. I was excited to push my limits, as not only is my CPU designed for it, but my RAM, which is currently operating at 2666MHz, has the potential to reach 4000MHz.
However, my ambitions took a turn for the worse. After making some adjustments, I was met with an error code 07, which has locked me out of the BIOS. Frustrated and anxious, I attempted to resolve the issue by removing and reinserting the CMOS battery, but to no avail.
Now, I find myself in a state of panic, worried that I may have rendered my investment unusable. I’m reaching out for any guidance or solutions that could help me recover from this situation. If you have experience with similar issues or advice on what steps I should take next, I would greatly appreciate your input. Thank you in advance for your support!
