Is the Nvidia GeForce 30 Series the Next Generation of the Iconic 10 Series?

In the world of graphics card enthusiasts, the Nvidia GeForce 10 series holds a legendary status, particularly the 1080 Ti, which is often lauded for its impressive performance and reliability. As we witness the evolution of GPUs, one question arises: Could the 30 series be regarded as the next successor to the 10 series?

The 10 series made a significant impact in the gaming landscape, offering users powerful graphics solutions that catered to the demands of modern gaming. However, with Nvidia officially discontinuing updates and support for this series, many are turning their attention to newer options.

Among the currently supported GPUs, the 30 series appears to stand out, showcasing notable enhancements in raw performance. While the 40 and 50 series have leaned heavily on technologies like DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), the 30 series seems to encapsulate a more substantial leap forward in performance metrics.

In contrast, the 20 series served primarily as a transitional lineup. While it brought with it the promise of ray tracing, many users found its performance in this area lacking, especially when compared to the expectations set by the earlier 10 series.

Now, considering the minimal advances in raw performance over the last two generations, the 30 series might actually retain its relevance for a longer period.
