Having a chat with my VP of Global Services, and they’re revealing some truths unexpectedly

Navigating Concerns in Global Talent Acquisition: A Personal Reflection

In a recent conversation with my VP of Global Services, I couldn’t help but notice a rather candid discussion unfolding. It became clear that the organization is not merely focused on finding the most cost-effective talent to fill open positions; rather, there seems to be an intentional strategy to seek out countries with the least stringent labor laws.

This approach raises significant concerns about the implications for team morale and organizational culture. It’s disheartening to think that the well-being of employees might be compromised in favor of financial savings.

As I reflect on my own experience, I find myself relieved that this is my final week at the organization. I look forward to exploring new opportunities that align better with my values and foster a healthier work environment.

Have others faced similar situations in their workplaces? It seems more common to hear such discussions lately, and it’s crucial to remain aware of the broader impact these decisions can have on both employees and organizational integrity.
