Trouble with My Nvidia 3060: Seeking Solutions from Fellow IT Enthusiasts
As a professional in the IT field, it’s not often that I find myself stumped, but today is one of those days. I recently purchased a pre-owned laptop equipped with an Nvidia 3060 notebook GPU from my company. For the first couple of weeks, everything operated smoothly. However, a couple of days ago, the GPU suddenly ceased to function properly.
In an effort to troubleshoot the issue, I’ve undertaken various measures including reinstalling the graphics drivers, completing BIOS updates, and rolling back Windows updates. Additionally, I’ve attempted to uninstall the drivers and revert to previous versions. Even going so far as to reinstall Windows and downgrade to an earlier version, I’ve yet to identify the root of the problem.
While the GPU is recognized in the Device Manager, it remains unacknowledged by other programs. This is particularly perplexing, and I’m reaching out to the community for insights or potential solutions. If anyone has experienced similar issues or has any suggestions on how to resolve this perplexing situation, your input would be greatly appreciated!
