My Phone Number Is Being Misused – Seeking Solutions
I recently found myself in a perplexing and frustrating situation: someone is misusing my phone number to make calls to others, and consequently, I am receiving numerous callbacks from people who think I’m the one reaching out to them. It seems I may be the target of a scam or perhaps even a hacking incident.
In an attempt to resolve this issue, I contacted my phone carrier for assistance. To my surprise, their solution was to download a caller ID application. While I appreciate the suggestion, I’m left wondering if there are more effective measures I can take to regain control over my number and prevent this from happening again.
If anyone has experienced a similar situation or can offer additional advice on how to handle this troubling matter, I would greatly appreciate your insights.
