Evaluating the Worth of My Almost 5-Year-Old Gaming PC
I’m looking to sell my gaming PC, which I assembled nearly five years ago. As I’m considering its resale value, I’d appreciate your insights on what it might be worth in today’s market.
Here are the specifications of my build:
- Case: be quiet! Pure Base 500DX
- Processor: Intel Core i7-10700K
- CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock 4 Pro
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z490-E Gaming
- Graphics Card: ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 ROG Strix O10G
- Storage: 2000GB Samsung 970 Evo Plus M.2 2280 PCIe
- Memory: 32GB (2x 16384MB) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200
- Power Supply: be quiet! Straight Power 11 PC ATX 850W
- Cooling: Upgraded fans to be quiet! Silent Wings 3
Condition and Performance
The components have been well-maintained, and the system performs admirably, handling modern gaming titles with ease. I’ve recently replaced the original fans with the quieter Silent Wings 3 to enhance cooling efficiency and reduce noise levels.
Your Thoughts?
Given the age and specs of this build, I would love to hear your opinions on a fair asking price. What do you think it could fetch in the current market? Your feedback will be invaluable as I set out to sell my setup. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
