Today, I encountered a rather unsettling situation involving my family and phone number spoofing. This morning, I received a call from my sister’s number but was met with silence on the other end. Concerned, I quickly hung up and decided to call her back to check in. To my surprise, she had no idea she had dialed me, leaving me feeling anxious about the implications.

After discussing this incident with my father, I learned that he experienced something eerily similar just last week, where my mother’s number was used to contact him without her knowledge. This pattern of events has heightened my concerns about our family’s phone security.
