On March 20, 2020, I was compelled to leave my university life and head back to my home country due to the pandemic. With urgency, I packed most of my belongings into my minivan, ready to return to safety with my family. In the flurry of moving, I unfortunately left behind my two iPhones, each carrying immense sentimental value—my iPhone 4, snug in its leather case, and my iPhone 6s.

Fast forward to September 2021, when I returned to the university after a long absence. Eager to retrieve my cherished devices, I rushed to my minivan only to be met with the harsh realization that my beloved iPhones were nowhere to be found.
