I find myself in a rather unsettling situation regarding my Lenovo Yoga laptop, which I’ve owned for about two and a half years. Lately, it’s been experiencing some alarming issues—random crashes accompanied by intrusive black and colored squares overtaking the screen. Despite my efforts to troubleshoot, including updating the graphics driver, nothing seemed to rectify the problem. Faced with mounting frustration, I decided to enlist the help of a local computer repair service, which boasted excellent reviews.
During my initial visit, I met the technician outside his office. As a student, I expressed my need for a quick evaluation of the laptop and asked if he could provide an estimate for the potential repair costs. My intention was to gauge whether it was financially viable to proceed or if I would need to consider replacing the device altogether.
However, things took a peculiar turn just a few days later.
