Troubleshooting a New HDD Installation: Overcoming Boot Issues
Recently, I encountered a challenge while upgrading my laptop with a new hard drive. After installation, the device presented me with an error message: “No bootable devices.” This was quite perplexing, but I was determined to resolve the issue and have Windows up and running seamlessly.
Upon researching and gathering insights, I learned that this message often arises when the system fails to recognize a bootable operating system on the newly installed HDD. But how does one go about fixing this issue?
