Troubleshooting a Boot Issue with a New SSD: Insights and Solutions

Recently, I upgraded my laptop by adding a new WD NVMe M.2 SSD and installed a fresh operating system. For three days, everything functioned perfectly. However, I was taken aback when, out of the blue, my Dell G3 3579 suddenly failed to boot. The error message displayed was “Required device not found,” leaving me puzzled and frustrated.

In an attempt to resolve the issue, I tried accessing recovery mode, but my efforts were unsuccessful. I booted from a media device and utilized Command Prompt alongside Diskpart. Here, I discovered that while the SSD was recognized as online, the partitions were inexplicably offline. This raised a critical question: how could the partitions be offline while the disk remained operational?

Faced with time constraints and minimal data on the device, I decided to take drastic measures. I opted to completely clean the SSD, convert it to GPT format, and reinstall Windows.
