Never ending ethernet and windows activation loop.

Troubleshooting Persistent Network and Activation Issues After Hardware Replacement

Experiencing connectivity and activation hurdles following PC repairs can be frustrating, especially when hardware replacements disrupt normal network and software functions. Recently, I had to replace my CPU and motherboard due to an unforeseen liquid damage incident. While the hardware replacement was successful, it introduced a new set of challenges that have left me stuck in a frustrating loop.

Post-repair, I encountered an immediate need to reactivate Windows. However, Windows requires an internet connection for activation, and my current setup cannot connect online. The problem stems from missing drivers—without the correct network drivers, my system cannot recognize or connect to the internet. The only readily available option presented by Windows is to connect via Ethernet, but this is problematic because my house lacks Ethernet cabling, and I have no plans to install new cables simply to restore my network connection.

This situation has created a recurring cycle: I attempt to troubleshoot the network issue, the solutions always point toward installing the necessary drivers, but the process is hindered because I cannot access the internet to download or install any drivers. Without internet access, I’m unable to complete activation or even perform basic driver updates, leaving my system in a limbo state.

Admittedly, my technical expertise is limited, and navigating these troubleshooting steps without internet access has been overwhelming. I am seeking advice from the community on how to break this cycle. Are there alternative methods to install drivers without an active internet connection? Would using a USB drive to transfer drivers from another computer be a viable solution? Or should I consider seeking professional help, such as a technician from a reputable support service?

Any guidance or recommended steps to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support.
