Urgent Assistance Needed: Recovering Data from a Corrupted SD Card Set as Internal Storage
Hello, fellow tech enthusiasts,
I find myself in a challenging situation and would greatly appreciate your insights and advice.
Currently, I own a Sony Xperia XZ3 operating on Android 10. When I first inserted my SD card, I opted to configure it as internal storage through the adoptable storage feature. This setup worked seamlessly for an extended period, but recently, my phone flagged the SD card as corrupted. Unfortunately, this means I can no longer access any of the valuable data stored on it, and the system insists that I format the card to proceed—an action I am desperate to avoid due to the important information it contains.
In an effort to retrieve my data, I connected the SD card to my laptop; however, because of the encryption associated with its use as internal storage, I’m unable to access the files.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? Are there potential solutions or recovery tools that might allow me to fix or recover the data from the SD card without having to format it and risk losing everything?
Your guidance or any suggestions you might offer would be incredibly helpful. Thank you in advance for your support!
