Troubleshooting ASUS Vivobook Charging Issues: Seeking Help
Hello, fellow tech enthusiasts!
Today, I want to share my experience with an ASUS Vivobook laptop that has suddenly stopped charging and turning on. After a year of reliable performance, I found myself facing a frustrating situation that I hope to resolve with your insights.
A few weeks back, I neglected to charge my laptop, assuming it had simply run out of power. However, upon connecting it to the charger, I noticed that neither the power light nor the charging indicator would illuminate. After confirming that the charger worked correctly, I decided to delve deeper into the issue by disconnecting and reconnecting the laptop’s battery in hopes of resetting any internal glitches. Sadly, this approach yielded no results.
As you might imagine, the thought of sending my laptop to a repair shop is daunting, especially with diagnostic fees often exceeding $90. While I suspect that a battery replacement might be necessary, it’s peculiar that I hadn’t encountered any warnings leading up to this point—such as reduced battery life or extended charging times.
I’m reaching out to the community for advice. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has suggestions on how to proceed, your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!
