PC HDMI and display port not working after latest Windows 11 update

Troubleshooting Display Issues Following a Windows 11 Update

Hello, everyone!

I recently encountered a perplexing problem with my PC after the latest Windows 11 update, which I could use some help with. I invested in a new computer back in March, and here are the specifications for reference:

  • Processor: Intel i9-13900K (24 cores, up to 5.8 GHz)
  • RAM: DDR4-3200, 16GB
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte B760M Gaming DDR4 (So1700, mTX Alder Lake)
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, 12GB (Asus Phoenix V2)
  • Storage: 512GB M2 NVMe SSD (Mega Electronics Fastro MS150) and 2TB Seagate BarraCuda HDD (256MB Cache, SATA 6GB/s)
  • Operating System: Windows 11

Unfortunately, today when I powered on my PC, the monitor failed to receive any signal. I attempted to connect three different screens via both HDMI and DisplayPort cables but experienced the same issue across all. Notably, all the screens worked perfectly with another PC, which leads me to believe that the problem lies with my system.

Although the computer powers on (the fans and LED lights activate), there is no display output, which raises concerns. The last action I performed before the issue arose was installing a Windows 11 update, so I can’t help but feel this may be the culprit behind the problem.

As I delve deeper into the issue, I’ve also noticed that the USB and Ethernet ports are unresponsive. The Ethernet port, for example, does not show any activity, although my router is functioning properly. It appears that not only is there no display output from either the HDMI or the graphics card, but the motherboard also shows no signs of activity.

Seeking Solutions

Here’s where I would appreciate your guidance:
1. Have you experienced a similar issue following a Windows update? If so, what steps did you take to resolve it?
2. Given the current situation, how can I troubleshoot or interact with the system when there is no display output?

Thank you in advance for any tips or recommendations. Let’s hope we can get this resolved swiftly!
