Trouble in Paradise: Diagnosing a Failing NAS Drive
Hello, everyone!
I recently encountered a troubling issue with my NAS (Network Attached Storage) hard drive. It appears that the drive has encountered a significant failure, and Iām uncertain about the next steps. My operating system recognizes it as a 9943GB volume, despite it actually being a 10TB disk, and it indicates that no usable partitions can be found.
Upon startup, the drive emits a peculiar sound that leaves me concerned about its condition. This raises the pressing question: is recovery possible?
If you have any recommendations for Software tools or strategies that might help me retrieve the data, I would greatly appreciate your insights.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide!
