A Cautionary Tale: The Day I Damaged My Laptop’s WiFi Antenna
We’ve all been there—one moment you’re happily using your laptop, and the next, an unforeseen accident occurs that leaves you scrambling for solutions. Recently, I experienced a mishap that I want to share with you all, especially those who might find themselves in a similar predicament.
While using my HP Laptop 15-bs0xx, I accidentally detached one of the WiFi antennas. It was a harmless mistake, but now my internet connection is painfully slow. The WiFi is still functional, albeit at a frustratingly diminished speed. Under normal circumstances, I would simply disconnect from the WiFi card completely, but here’s the catch: I’m currently away from home without access to an Ethernet cable to remedy the situation.
So, here I am, seeking your ingenious and temporary solutions to improve my WiFi performance until I can resolve this issue more permanently. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated!
