Airtel SIM showing “The Safe Network” instead of “Airtel” — calls work fine but kinda confused

Encountering the “Safe Network” Mystery: A Strange Airtel SIM Experience

Recently, I encountered an unusual situation with my Airtel SIM card while using my iPhone. Instead of the familiar “Airtel” label that typically appears as the carrier name, my phone now displays “The Safe Network.” This unexpected change has left me a bit puzzled.

Despite this oddity, I want to reassure you that calls, SMS, and mobile data functionality remain unaffected; everything is working smoothly. However, the alteration in the displayed carrier name has raised some concerns.

To provide more context, I’ve attached screenshots that illustrate the issue. One particularly revealing image showcases the “The Safe Network” label in the SIM settings and while scanning for available networks. Curiously, I couldn’t find “Airtel” mentioned anywhere.

This situation has prompted me to reach out for insights. Is this a common occurrence, or should I be alarmed? Have any of you experienced a similar issue with your Airtel SIM recently? I’d appreciate any thoughts or guidance you might have on this curious case.
