I’m on the lookout for a free and lightweight antivirus solution that prioritizes user experience and respects your file management preferences. Recently, I had quite an ordeal with Windows Defender when it unexpectedly deleted files from my NAS server without any prior warning.

After spending a frustrating hour trying to restore those files, I faced numerous challenges.
