Seeking Solutions: Best Software for Recovering Corrupted .jpg and .mov Files

I find myself in a bit of a predicament and would appreciate your genuine insights and recommendations. Recently, my daughter accidentally dropped my iPhone 14 Pro, resulting in a completely shattered screen. Unfortunately, I didn’t have iCloud storage set up, which has compounded the challenge of recovering my treasured memories.

After the incident, I made a trip to the Apple Store, where I was advised to purchase a new phone, which I did. Before this mishap, I had attempted to back up my phone’s data—approximately 125 GB worth of memories—by transferring files to an external hard drive. I had Live Photos enabled, which means that my .jpg and .mov files were organized in a way that, when synced in unison, would recreate those special moments.

To my dismay, when I connected the external hard drive to retrieve my files, most of them were unfortunately corrupted. Memories spanning over eight years, especially precious moments with my two kids, now seem to be in jeopardy.

I’m reaching out to see if anyone can recommend reliable Software or programs that can assist in the recovery of these corrupted files. I’ve tried Wondershare without success, so I’m eager to hear about any alternatives that have proven effective. I’m open to paid options, as these memories mean the world to me, and I would do anything to recover them.
