Recovering Files from an Unpartitioned Drive: What You Need to Know
Hello, readers!
Today, I find myself in a bit of a predicament and am reaching out for your advice on a technical issue involving Data Recovery. Recently, I accidentally deleted the partition on my external drive, and now I can’t access any of my files without the risk of needing to reformat it. The stakes are high, as this drive contains a significant amount of client work, none of which has been backed up.
This brings me to my pressing question: Is there a method to recover my files without having to create a new partition? I’ve considered using third-party recovery tools, such as Disk Drill, but my experience with it has been less than satisfactory, to say the least.
To further complicate matters, I did run a preliminary check with Disk Drill and can confirm that the files are technically still present. However, the recovery attempt stalled, indicating that it might take an unrealistic 750 hours to complete.
If anyone has experience with a reliable recovery method or Software that could help retrieve my files without reformatting the drive, your insights would be incredibly valuable. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Looking forward to hearing your suggestions!
