A Fresh Start: Installing Windows via USB
Let me go ahead and get this off my chest: I’ve been running my PC for the past three years without a legitimate version of Windows. It all started when a friend suggested I try a supposedly “free” version, which seemed to work fine initially. I even enjoyed the absence of the activation watermark in the corner of my screen for a while, thinking I had struck gold by being able to personalize my wallpaper and other settings.
However, I’m now faced with various complications and it’s clear that it’s time to make a change. I’ve decided to purchase a legitimate copy of Windows, so I can reset my system and enjoy a hassle-free user experience. Honestly, I’m fine with wiping everything on my PC; my priority is to have a clean, fresh installation of the real deal.
Now, I’m reaching out for some guidance on how to install Windows via USB. From what I’ve gathered, the process seems straightforward: simply plug the USB drive into my computer, access the BIOS settings, select the USB drive as the boot option, and follow the installation instructions.
But is it really that easy? Any tips or insights would be greatly appreciated as I embark on this journey to revive my PC and ensure it runs smoothly once again. Thank you in advance for your help!
