Troubleshooting a Non-Functional NVIDIA 3060 GPU: Insights from an IT Perspective
As IT professionals, we often find ourselves in challenging situations, and troubleshooting hardware issues can sometimes be a perplexing task. Recently, I encountered a puzzling problem with a used laptop equipped with an NVIDIA 3060 GPU. After successfully using the machine for about two weeks, the graphics card suddenly ceased functioning.
Initial Steps Taken
After the GPU failure, I undertook a series of troubleshooting steps to get to the bottom of the issue. These included:

Driver Reinstallation: I started by reinstalling the graphics drivers, hoping to restore functionality.

Despite all these efforts, the card is still detected without issues in the Device Manager. However, it remains unrecognized by any other applications.
