To provide some context, I live approximately 40 minutes away from my parents, and my mother has expressed concerns about my father becoming overly involved in her affairs. Curious about its purpose, I connected it to my laptop. What I uncovered was startling—I accessed various recordings, including videos of conversations between my mother, my sister, and me from that very day, as well as a phone call I had with my boyfriend shortly before plugging in the USB.
The realization that these recordings existed raised significant concerns about privacy. I have never granted my father permission to access my phone, nor has my mother.
