Unearthing Nostalgia: A Glimpse into My Dad’s Vintage Technology
Recently, while decluttering my shed, I stumbled upon a remarkable piece of technology from the past: my father’s old portable computer, the Sharp PC-7000. I couldn’t resist taking a snapshot of it resting on my lap, reminiscent of an era when such compact devices were considered cutting-edge.
This nostalgic machine has taken residence in the shed—primarily to escape the curious spiders that seem to find refuge everywhere. However, with a quick connection to power, it sprung back to life as if it had been waiting for this moment. To my surprise, we still possess floppy disks that can be used with it!
