Troubleshooting a Failing Laptop GPU: My Journey with a Used Nvidia 3060
As an IT professional, I often pride myself on being able to tackle technical issues head-on. However, sometimes even the most familiar challenges can leave me feeling stumped. Recently, I encountered a particularly perplexing problem with a used laptop that I purchased from my company, equipped with an Nvidia 3060 GPU. After two weeks of flawless performance, I found myself grappling with a malfunction that I couldn’t quite resolve.
The Problem Revealed
Just a few days ago, my laptop’s graphics card ceased to operate. Initially, I thought it might be a simple fix. I diligently set to work implementing various troubleshooting measures.
