Troubleshooting a Stubborn Nvidia 3060 GPU: Seeking Solutions

As an IT professional, it’s not uncommon to encounter unexpected hurdles, but sometimes, even the most seasoned experts can find themselves in a bind. I recently purchased a previously owned laptop equipped with an Nvidia 3060 notebook GPU, which had been functioning flawlessly for the first two weeks. However, I was met with disappointment when the GPU suddenly ceased to work a few days ago.

In my quest to resolve the issue, I have exhausted a range of troubleshooting methods. I began by reinstalling the GPU drivers, and I even updated the BIOS to the latest version. When those efforts proved fruitless, I tried reverting both the BIOS and Windows updates to see if that would restore functionality. I have also uninstalled and reverted to older driver versions, but to no avail.

Despite the GPU appearing correctly in Device Manager, it remains unrecognized by any other software applications. This is where I find myself stumped and in need of assistance.
