How to Recover Data from Your SD Card: A Journey with Tenoshare 4DDig

Iām reaching out to the community today seeking advice on an unfortunate mishap I experienced recently. After formatting my SD card without making a proper backup of my footage, I turned to Tenoshare 4DDig in hopes of recovering my lost data. The application succeeded in displaying my recovered files on the desktop interface, which brought me some relief. However, I encountered an issue when trying to access these files on my external hard drive (WD Elements).
Despite seeing the correct file sizes, the clips refuse to play, which is quite frustrating. Interestingly, when I download the preview for the individual clips, they function perfectly. This leads me to wonder whether the problem lies with my hard drive itself.
Has anyone else faced a similar situation? I would greatly appreciate any insights or solutions that could help me resolve this issue and successfully bring my footage back to life. Thank you in advance for your help!
