Seeking Software Solutions for My KKmoon Foot Pedal

Hello everyone,

In 2018, I purchased a foot pedal intended for use as a “push to talk” button. Now that I’ve upgraded to a new PC, I’m facing the challenge of reconfiguring the keybind associated with my device.

Unfortunately, the Amazon listing for the pedal appears to be no longer available, but I was able to identify it as the “KKmoon USB Game Foot Control Keyboard Action Switch Pedal HID.”

Upon searching for information about this foot pedal, I discovered that one of its advertised features is the ability to pre-program keys or key combinations through dedicated software. However, my search for this software has been inconclusive, and I’m struggling to locate it.

I’m on the verge of purchasing a new pedal and abandoning this one altogether, but I know there must be some knowledgeable individuals in this community who can offer guidance. If anyone has experience with the KKmoon foot pedal or knows where I can find the necessary software to customize and set my key bindings, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Thank you for your support, and I hope you all have a wonderful day!

  1. Hi there,

It seems you’re looking to customize your KKmoon USB foot pedal’s key bindings. Since the original dedicated software appears to be unavailable or hard to find, I recommend exploring third-party HID or keyboard remapping tools that can help you assign new functions to your foot pedal.

    Some popular options include:

    • AutoHotkey — a powerful scripting tool that allows you to remap input devices and create custom scripts to assign specific key combinations or actions.
    • Karabiner-Elements — a macOS-specific tool for remapping keys and devices.
    • USBOverdrive — for Windows, enabling device remapping and configuration.

For your specific use-case, AutoHotkey is often the most flexible and widely supported for Windows environments. You may need to identify the current key codes generated by your foot pedal using a tool like Reply
