Girlfriend got access to multiple accounts/passwords on Macbook while I was sleeping. Unable to figure out how.

Uncovering a Disturbing Breach of Privacy: How My Girlfriend Accessed My Accounts

Today, I found myself in a bewildering and troubling situation that has left me anxious and seeking clarity. Earlier this morning, my girlfriend woke me from sleep with alarming news—she claimed to have gained access to multiple online accounts linked to my MacBook. Understandably, I was taken aback and immediately sought answers.

When I inquired how she managed this, she became evasive and refused to provide any specifics. The only password she possesses is the one that unlocks my MacBook. Importantly, I know I wasn’t signed into any accounts at the time, nor do I have any passwords stored on the device. I genuinely doubt that she could have guessed any credentials or observed me entering them.

This is not the first time I’ve experienced issues with her accessing my private information, which led me to take significant precautions to safeguard my accounts. To further protect myself, I ran several scans with trusted Software like Malwarebytes, but to my dismay, nothing malicious was detected.

It’s evident to me that she must have installed some sort of tracking Software on my computer to extract this sensitive data. However, the timeline of this installation remains a mystery. I noticed in the MacBook’s activity console that she was indeed using the device while I slept, but deciphering the log events is proving challenging.

I’m left wondering if there’s a way to resolve this without resorting to a factory reset. If you’ve encountered a similar situation or have insights on potential solutions, I would greatly appreciate your guidance. Thank you in advance for any advice or recommendations you might share!
