Facing My Dream Job Interview: A Roller Coaster of Emotions

Today marked a pivotal moment in my professional journey as I prepared for an interview with my dream cybersecurity company. The excitement was palpable (and it didn’t help that the interview was just 30 minutes away!). After dedicating the last two weeks to intense study and preparation, I found myself on an emotional roller coaster—both thrilled and utterly anxious.

For the past fourteen days, I’ve poured countless hours into reviewing material, all while juggling a demanding work schedule. As the clock ticked down, I experienced a whirlwind of feelings, from enthusiasm to sheer panic. It’s not every day that an opportunity like this arises, and the weight of it all was almost overwhelming.

Unfortunately, sharing my excitement felt tricky. I had to keep this enormous opportunity under wraps, especially since my current employer follows me on social media. However, the urge to express my nervousness and anticipation was so strong that I found myself needing an outlet—hence this post.
