The Rollercoaster of Landing My Dream Job Interview

Today marks a significant moment in my professional journey—I’m just half an hour away from interviewing with my ideal cybersecurity company. The anticipation has my heart racing, and I find myself caught in a whirlwind of excitement and nerves.

Over the past two weeks, I’ve immersed myself in preparation. Balancing long hours at work while cramming for this opportunity has been challenging, but I’ve dedicated myself fully to this goal. Yet, as the clock ticks down, I can’t shake the feeling of being overwhelmed. The thought of it being my dream role sends my adrenaline into overdrive.

One of the tricky parts? I can’t share my excitement on my usual social media channels. My current employer monitors my Twitter activity, making it a bit tricky to express how I feel. However, I know I need an outlet to share this thrill, which is why I’m here. Just writing this helps quell some of that pent-up anxiety.
