I’m Unable to Update My Name After Over Three Months

My Name Change Nightmare: Stuck with an Offensive Username

It’s been several months since I fell victim to a security breach in my Google account, and the aftermath has been frustrating, to say the least. After an unauthorized individual gained access to my account, they decided to leave a lasting mark by changing my username to something utterly offensive: “I’m A Son Of A Bitch Vagina Hoe.” Naturally, I was horrified at the thought of anyone seeing my account under such a disgraceful name.

Initially, I attempted to rectify the situation immediately. However, I was met with a standard error message informing me that I would have to wait a full 90 days before I could make any changes to my username. Accepting this as a small price to pay for security, I marked my calendar and braced for a waiting game.

Fast forward to today, and I’m still facing the same issue, well beyond that 90-day window. Every time I try to change my username, I am met with an error message that leaves me feeling defeated. I’ve combed through the FAQ section in search of answers, but unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a solution tailored to my predicament.

Now, I find myself reaching out for assistance. If anyone has faced a similar issue or has tips on how to address this frustrating situation, I would greatly appreciate your help. It’s disheartening to feel trapped by a name change policy that seems to have no exceptions for cases like mine. Your insights could be the key to resolving this name change nightmare!
