I’ve Had an Unauthorized Access to My Account for More Than Three Weeks, and Amazon Still Won’t Remove the Intruder—My Post Was Removed from r/Amazon and I’m Out of Options

Title: Struggling with a Hacked Amazon Account: A Cry for Help

In an unsettling turn of events, I find myself grappling with a serious security breach on my Amazon account that has persisted for over three weeks. Despite my continuous efforts to regain control, I feel trapped in a situation that seems to be spiraling out of control.

It all began with suspicious activity—unrecognized credit and debit cards were being linked to my account, along with unfamiliar shipping addresses. Items I never ordered began arriving at my doorstep, seemingly ordered on my behalf. My initial suspicion is that this could be part of a brushing scam, but I’m still uncertain about the specifics.

In my attempt to rectify the issue, I have made over five calls to Amazon support and even had my account temporarily locked twice. While I have diligently changed my password more than ten times and enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) for both my Amazon account and the email linked to it, the unauthorized activity persists. Furthermore, I took precautions by deauthorizing all devices connected to my account.

Despite assurances from Amazon that they have “sanitized” my account, I continue to face the same alarming issues. The thought of closing my account is daunting; it contains years of order history and valuable perks accrued from my children’s registries.

At this juncture, I find myself at a loss for what to do next. It’s disheartening to see my post seeking advice removed from r/Amazon, leaving me feeling even more isolated in this ordeal. If anyone has faced a similar situation or can offer guidance, I would be incredibly grateful for your insights. How can I ensure my account is secure and regain control of my Amazon experience?
