Idk what’s wrong with my PC

Troubleshooting a Mysterious Monitor Issue on My PC

Recently, I’ve encountered a perplexing problem with my computer that has left me scratching my head for the past few months. My monitor occasionally turns off while the computer itself remains powered on. This issue typically occurs during gameplay, particularly with simulation games such as BeamNG, Assetto Corsa, Motor Town, and American Truck Simulator.

Whenever the monitor disconnects, my immediate response is to unplug the display port and connect it to a different slot. However, the display often fails to recognize the connection until I restart my PC, which is both bothersome and time-consuming. Interestingly, this issue didn’t arise when I first installed my graphics card, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080.

Here are my current system specifications for context:

  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Home (Version 10.0.26100)
  • DirectX Version: DirectX 12
  • Driver Version: Game Ready Driver – 572.83 (Released March 18, 2025)
  • CPU: 11th Gen Intel Core i5-11600KF @ 3.90GHz
  • RAM: 32.0 GB
  • Storage: 465.8 GB SSD and 3.6 TB HDD
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080

I’ve recorded a video demonstrating the issue, but for some technical reason, I’m unable to upload it here.

If anyone has experienced a similar issue or has suggestions for troubleshooting, I would greatly appreciate your insights. It seems like a tough nut to crack, and I’m hoping to get to the bottom of it with your help!
