Growing up, he immersed himself in the vibrant Chicagoland bulletin board systems (BBSs) during the late 80s and early 90s, first with a Commodore 64 and later on an Intel 386 PC running Linux.

He is the founder of THOTCON, a hacker conference that has become a staple in the community, celebrating its 12th edition in 2023. Over the last four years at Kraken, he has spearheaded initiatives to fortify the exchange against cyberattacks, demonstrating his commitment to security in the ever-evolving cryptocurrency landscape.
