I’m the kid who asked for internship interview advice. I got the contract.

Exciting News: I’ve Secured My First Internship!

I am thrilled to share some fantastic news with all of you — I’ve landed my first internship! Thanks to the invaluable advice and encouragement from the supportive members of r/cybersecurity, I’m ready to embark on this new journey.

As I prepare to sign the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and internship contract right after my summer break begins in about three weeks, I’m filled with excitement for what lies ahead. During this three-month internship, I will be collaborating on a web application project alongside a fellow QA intern. It’s a wonderful opportunity to apply what I’ve learned and gain hands-on experience in the field.

What makes this opportunity even more special is the potential for a part-time role upon demonstrating my skills. If I can impress them with my work, I may continue with a compensated position, which is a thrilling prospect at this stage of my career.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to my initial inquiry. Your kindness and advice have played a significant role in helping me reach this milestone, and I am genuinely grateful for your support.

P.S. I’ve received such warm congratulations and uplifting messages since sharing the news, and it truly means a lot to me. The awards are just the cherry on top of this amazing experience!

Stay tuned for updates on my internship journey!
