I’m the kid who asked for internship interview advice. I got the contract.

Exciting Internship News: I Landed My First Contract!

I’m thrilled to share some fantastic news that has been a dream in the making for me! Recently, I reached out to the wonderful community of r/cybersecurity seeking guidance on how to prepare for internship interviews, and thanks to their invaluable advice, I’m now officially on board for my first internship!

In just a few weeks, as summer break kicks off, I’ll be signing the nondisclosure agreement and internship contract. During this internship, I’ll be collaborating on a web application project alongside another intern focused on quality assurance. This opportunity not only marks the start of my career but also presents a chance to learn and grow in a real-world setting.

The internship is set for a duration of three months, and if I can demonstrate my skills effectively, there’s potential for a part-time position afterward. The prospect of continuing on as a paid member of the team is incredibly exciting!

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who responded to my initial inquiry with encouragement and advice. Your support means the world to me, and I truly appreciate all the kind messages and congratulations I’ve received.

Here’s to new beginnings and the journey ahead!

UPDATE: Thank you all for the congratulatory messages and for the lovely awards – I’m genuinely touched by your support! 💖
