Troubleshooting Internet Connectivity Issues on Windows 11: A Frustrating Experience
If you’re experiencing persistent internet connectivity problems on your Windows 11 machine, you’re certainly not alone. Recently, I encountered a perplexing issue that began when I returned from a weekend getaway. It seems that every eight seconds my Wi-Fi connection stutters, registering a small yet significant 8 kB spike in data transmission.
I attempted a number of troubleshooting steps in hopes of resolving this issue. First, I reset my router, thinking perhaps a simple restart would refresh the connection. When that failed to yield results, I turned my attention to the computer itself, performing a complete restart. Additionally, I flushed my DNS cache, believing it might help clear any underlying issues affecting my connection.
Despite these efforts, the problem persists, and it appears to be getting worse, with the disruptive 8 kB spikes occurring more frequently than before. At this point, I’m feeling quite frustrated and unsure of the next steps to take.
